My previous addition to the Jehovah's Witness Wikipedia article was removed, but it has been re-added by someone else, and worded more strongly:

    * Belief that a "Great Crowd" of Jehovah's Witnesses is now living that will survive the coming battle of Armageddon and have the prospect of living forever on an earthly paradise. (Revelation 7:9-17) Belief that all others (non-Jehovah's Witnesses) on Earth will be killed by Jehovah at Armageddon, including small children and babies.

Also, my previous addition about JW's being the only christians was modified by someone else to water it down. I still don't think it's quite accurate:

    * Belief that only persons who are associated with Jehovah's Witnesses can correctly be called true Christians.

    And, I added one more:

    * Belief that baptised Jehovah's Witnesses who disagree with official doctrine are to be labeled apostate, be disfellowshipped, and subsequently be shunned by all Jehovah's Witnesses, even family members.

Here's the article for those who are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah%27s_Witness

jstalin, I edited that one. This belief is almost word for word in print. The thing about an encyclopedia is, you have to have references and sources to back up what you say. Otherwise the work can't be verified independently by someone who is not one of Jehovah's WItnesses. Any unsourced contributions can be edited to one that can be backed by sources. I discussed this one on the talk page before posting it, and it was agreed that this version could stay. Initially, it had been deleted, too.

    AuldSoul:

The reason that I say it is watered down is the word "associated." It gives the impression that even friends of JWs have a claim to being christians. I'm looking to make it clear that JWs in good standing with WTB&TS are the only true christians, according to them. However, no one seems to be able to agree on just what the name of the organization is.
