The demons will hear them!

That's what my 11 y.o. told me yesterday. She got this little gem of wisdom from my mother while visiting my parents.

She said, "Mom, I'm only gonna tell you this if you don't criticise Grammy."

"ok Kid, let it rip."

"Grammy said we should tell each other our happy dreams but if we tell bad dreams the demons will hear it and make it happen to us!"

NO THAT IS NOT TRUE CHILD. When daddy and I have bad dreams, sometimes we wake each other up to tell our bad dreams and get a hug before we go back to sleep. The DEMONS might be strong but guess what--Jehovah is stronger! When you have a bad dream, and you can't sleep, please come and wake me up so we can laugh about it and you can get back to sleep."

Hopefully, she'll keep letting these little gems out so I can explode them. I would hate for her to grow up under the fear of demons like all the JW kids, me included. I chose not to even go down the "Prove there are demons" road. Just told her JEHOVAH IS THE STRONGEST.

Right now I am on creatine but havent seen an increase in my bench
for awhile.

Oh man, LDH that is so BAD! The stuff that gets fed to poor JW kids is so sick! I remember hearing stuff like that too growing up. I remember hearing (from the platform) that if you say stuff in your head the demons can't hear you, but if you speak it out loud they can. What a bunch of superstitious hooey. Luckily your daughter has you to stablize her!

Yup, My parents told me that one too along with don't say what you are afraid of out loud or the devil will use it against you during the great tribulation.

I used to have demon dreams quite a bit, my muffled Jehovah help me's usually bringing in my mother.

*LOL* LDH! Lizards in your nose???? Now that you have said that out loud, you'd better go check the mirror for a lizard tail hangin' from a nostril! Wait, not unless that was a GOOD dream!

I love that you and your daughter have such a comfortable, open relationship. My daughter is 5 months old and I look forward to that one day!

for some reason, my mom didn't scare us any extra by bringing up the subject of demons much...maybe she felt the wt writers and speakers were doing a good enough job? lol

Man..I had this awful terrible nightmare and I hope no vile demons are lurking here and reading my post but here goes:

My awful dream begins in the brisk air of the swiss alps where I am sitting in a cabin in a jacuzzi with 30 girls from this years and last years Sports Illustrated Swimsuite issue.

I start to sweat uncofrtably as they strip butt neked and massage me with some exotic indian tiger balm and then the nightmare truly begins as i am fed skinned grapes by a particularly well-endowed beauty.

Then I am taken to a chamber of torture with a soft, heart-shaped bed with a mirror on the ceiling and..well..i cant bear to go on but you get the idea.

Man oh man..I hope beelzebub and his buddies didnt read this
