I dont think i will ever understand it, I mean why would someone want to be so much of a hypocrit(doesnt apply to everyone) ?

It seems to me that most JW's are into themselves and stupid relationships. If someone is talking its about one of those two things. There is so much gossip that goes around in congregations that im surprised more people havent been killed. Then they feel that they need the society to be close to God, why? The society never said it outright but they are putting themselves as God in a sense so many people relate to what the society says instead of what Jesus or God says. Most JW's where i live have some money(nothing wrong with that) but they spend way too much time being materialistic, they are too selfish in their own little world of their desires. Most Dubs dont even care if your there or not, and if they do notice your not there, your just a piece of crap. Dont get me wrong there are a few good hearted people at the hall but they are very few. Anyone else have a description of the JW lifestyle around where you live?

To have a lifestyle you have to have a life. Most of the dubs at my old kh were so braindead they didn't know how to get a life. The elders told them how to live, and that was it. The ones still capable of independent thought soon left altogether. The rest were, and probably still are, a bunch of confused, frightened people who never dare question anything the wt says.

If that's a lifestyle, thank goodness I got out.

In the congos I was in as well as the surrounding ones they were very materialistic they definitely served mammonas the god of wealth and yet the WTS was telling them that they could enter paradise by doing a few hours of preaching, attending meetings and keeping some basic commands.

The "JW lifestyle" is totally self consumed. They say they are concerned for others, when in fact they are only concerned about how others can make them look better among their JW bretheren. They say they love their children, but even this has limits. A child must be diciplined out of love, especially when that child is embarrasing you in front of other JW's. It is improper for a child to be a child at meetings or conventions, such childish outbursts could seriously affect a father's chances of making MS or elder. They say they love their families, and to show such love they spiritualy stone you to death for minor infractions, all so that you will remember the love of the Christ, as shown by our spiritual mother, the FDS.

JW's are a herd of stupid cows walking down a path. The path encircles a vast mountain, and every year the cows complete another circle around it. They foolishly tell themselves that they are walking down a narrow path leading to eternal salvation. However, in the end, they are just a herd of foolish cattle walking in circles that lead them right back to where they started. There is no JW salvation, only a never ending path to walk and other foolish cows to try and impress.

    That is they JW lifestyle.

I've met many good people who have wealth and education who donate time and money to worthy

causes and want a better world. Such is a far cry from the "salvation of self centeredness"

    I've experienced among Witnesses generally.

In my former kh, there were quite a few with money, and they tended to be very materialistic, yet better thought of by the elders than the less well - off. They seemed to have new cars every year, new clothes for every occasion, and yet dared to go on the platform and call worldly people for being the same! Such hypocrites.
