Truely sad how more and more cases are surfacing.
This latest in a spanish hall in uptown manhattan, nyc.
I've known this elder for many years, he's the type that swears he is the most righteous, the most strict and most "spiritual".
7 years ago he and his wife took temporary custody of their 2 nephews and 1 niece, she was about 7.
This because their mother was disfellowshipped and did not fulfill her responsibility with the minors.
Everyone in the hall thought that he was a god..he took them under his roof , clothed them and fed them and above all took them an field service and to the meetings.
He would always walk holding his niece's hand..but noone thought anything about it..until about 3 weeks ago when the accusations were made and brought to the elders.
He is on the run and has not been seen since last week. The authorities have not been notified (typical WTS).
He was escorted out of their home by the NYPD but only because he refused the counsel to leave the premises.
What excuse was given to the police to lead him out, I don't know. But after that he tried to bunk in with a pioneer sister from his hall but when she found out about all this (being that JW's know how to keep confidential matters to themselves),
She told him to leave. After that he has not been seen.
How this will play out, I don't know. I know that B. Bowen is in Washington but I will let him know.
Truely sad...I've know this man since I was just a boy.
I will keep you guys posted with any new developments.
