The dubs at Booklyn Bethal would do if that bird flu passes from human to human. Being a great crowd would they disband and close Bethal or would they continue publishing those rag mags. That virus is one scary prospect. I've been reading about the flu in 1918 which was also a bird flu. If that mutates, humankind is really in big trouble. I'm heading for the woods with a tent. Shudders at the thought. I think they should kill every darned chicken and burn them.

They would crap in their pants because the flu would decimate the population of Bethel, Walkill and Patterson to the point that the WTBTS could not continue publishing delightful correct words of truth. Then the rank and file would starve to death without their meat in due season.

I think they should kill every darned chicken and burn them.
I'd much rather have every WTS publication on the face of the earth burned.
It wouldn't do a thing to prevent a flu outbreak.....but it would make me feel ever so much better!

Actually, if no new ones were published, the rank and file would study the old ones. It is just cut and paste anyway. They could do the meetings over the phones or have small groups meet. The WTS organization has faced being cut off from JWs in other countries in the past and have many ways around the problem of getting the "food" to the people. But if you wait too long...

A little off topic I know, but it's not necessarily the chickens that are the problem...it's the migratory birds that are spreading it to the domestic chicken populations in the many lands of the Eurasia land mass.
But I'm sure the Bethel peeps will be just fine. Why?
