WHY?

To get the answers straight from the source, rather than relying on rumor mill and gossip? It's not uncommon for a thread to take off on some crazy tangent (e.g., "Has the Watchtower dropped its shunning policy?") and a quick call to the gods/goddesses in Brooklyn can resolve it.
