Given the bend toward the Society's possible df'ing of viewing porn..and given the fact that the Society has in the past insisted that 'one act of phone sex constitutes practice and thus is grounds for df'ing' does this mean that if someone only one time views whatever is deemed as porn they will be df'd? What is the Society's definition of porn? I believe the Society says that it is 'anything that arouses one sexually'. If that's the case - those Dallas cheerleaders look mighty fine to a lot of people don't they? Is all that bouncing around in skimpy gear too provocative for a Witness to watch? Will they ban all Witnesses from watching football because they might get turned on? Will they consider it improper and put a halt to all JW's watching any sports event because it might lead to lustful thoughts? After all - you should recall the Janet Jackson fiasco....tsk, tsk...Also, in reviewing the previous posts about the push to forgo education and avoid the internet - I'm waiting for the time when the rules change to use of the internet only being allowed for job related activity. No personal use allowed. Anyway..I'm stuffed with turkey and potatoes, getting ready to snarffle some pie and having a great time watching the Dallas/Denver game...

Hmmmm.....well, I suppose that greediness would mean 'more than one time'.....so in essence anyone doing anything more than one time that is on the list of things to avoid would or could expect to be df'd. It seems to me that the use of the word practice is simply being replaced with the word greediness. .

I think the thing to do if you get called before a JC is to deny any wrong doing and then offer to let them see the tape or DVD in question. If after review they can get a boner on you are DF'ed...If not you are in the clear.. Cum to think of it this might only work if all the elders are fairly young.
