It's not every day you get something for free but a 'kindly' credit card company rang to offer a 0% deal on balance transfers or cash advances with a 2% fee capped at £50. Hmmmnn ...
I figure a £15,000 loan for £50 ain't bad and will earn a several hundred quid if I just stick it in a high-interest account (and pay it right back before the 0% period is up). Should pay for a new Xbox 360
There is no free lunch. Just beware of using that card for anything else. Most cards offering this program will allow interest charges on any purchases made using the card to accrue until the entire loan balance is paid.

Yeah, I know. The interest free balances get paid off first so any interest bearing amounts clock up for the whole period. The trick is to not put anything else on the card and keep the original amount handy so it can be used to pay it all off.
There must be lots of people who don't keep to it though and start dipping into it which is why it's worthwhile for the CC companies to offer it (and they still make £50 at least which is better than making £0)
