    Hey Carmel,

I was reading the morning newspaper about all the fighting in Israel now (forever) and the thousands of Palestine people in revolt.

Short lesson in politics for us in other parts of the world? What the hell are they fighting about for the thousandth year?

And why in the hell did you choose to retire in a country at war forever?

And why in the hell did you choose to retire to a hellish-type land full of hellish-type desert heat?

As the old news rag that no one admits reading in the usa: "Curious minds want to know." (The National Inquirer for you desert types)

waiting, who just put on a sweater for the first time this year! (lives in the south usa)

Hi snookums! Geeese you ask a lot of questions! First of all, having traveled all over this stupid hunk of rock and sand, I can't for the life of me see what there is to fight about! Anyone stupid enough to fight over Jerusalem has to be ten teaspoons less than a bottle cap full! The Negev is as desolate as the back side of the moon and the Israeli's thing populating it will some how save there sorry backsides from invasion!

It's all just a macrocosm of the Hatfields and McCoys! Stupid holding on to ancient relegio/political prejudices and greed! Through in a shaker of ego and bingo, you have a melting pot of stupidity!

Okay, so now to the blowing of my cover! Yep, I came here voluntarily and frankly may bury my moldering bones here unless fate desides otherwise. Actually, I had a choice of going to the "land down under" and here and from what I heard the Shelias in Ozz were more like lady alegators, so here I is! I live a mile from Elijah's cave and have the greatest view of the Med and Haifa harbor.

Temp is dropping at night now so one can sleep without the AC! So I guess I'll quit whinin if you quit complaining about my blond curley hair!

    Well, Carmelite,

I'm assuming that the "Carmelite" does not make you a Catholic Nun of the same named order?

Nor does "lite" have anything to do with you ample waist?

What kind of houses do they have in the desert? Your view of the seas must be beautiful.

Do you speak the local languages? Which are...?
