Ok I know that the Governing body no longer has a president so to speak. But is there one of them who takes the lead? I hear a lot talk here about Ted Jacaraz. Is he in charge or does he have some special title?

Officially, there is no head of the GB; Christ is supposed to be the head of the congregatin. It supposedly functions like elder bodies do where the presiding overseer (PO) "chairs" the elder body. Unofficially, the elder with the strongest personality or strongest contacts runs things. I'm sure the GB could run the same way and Jaracz has been fingered as the "strongest" personality. Also, the last 6 GB members, have been said to be hand-picked and trained by him.

No there isn't a president anymore. I don't remember when they stopped that.
Does Ted have any title that differs from the other GB members?
Does any of the inner circle JW's know that Ted is a special one?

They made the seperation of Governing Body and all legal entities in October, 2000, at the annual meeting. At the meeting, Dan Sydlik mentioned that it was the biggest organizational change in 30 years. There are no oficial titles of any of the GB members such as president, vice president because these jobs were handed to other higher-ups at that time.

I guess I never stopped to think about that. I know about the shift in structure but just never bothered to know more. thanks I am certain they have a structure within the group, they have such a hierchal mindset that I can picture them, on those rare occasions when they all get together, sitting and wondering who is going to lead them.

Didn't you see the other day Jaracz supposedly graced us with his presence. Called us fools. It would be rather humerous if some computer guy could figure out if it really did come from a computer located in Bethel. Is that even possible?
