I didn't know...I thought it might be Guiness Book of World Records (#4), but a couple sites I checked out are saying that it's Mao's little red book.
"Quotations From Chairman Mao Tse-Tung" (also known as "the little red book")
(the second best-selling book after the Bible in the 19th century was Uncle Tom's Cabin)
How about the quoran?

Notice how often the books of one sect – the Jehovah’s Witnesses – appear in the list. These are indicated by being underlined.
Before 1990, JWs actually asked a specific price for their books. I think it ended at about 50 cents for a 192-page book (like the Truth book) in January and February 1990 which was cut-rate from the normal $1. The last time money is mentioned in connection with the publications is the March 1990 KM.
Since 1990, JWs don't ask for money so any books "placed" since then don't seem to qualify as best-SELLING.

Yup.... just because a book is printed does not mean it is obtained by anyone or actually read.

Absolutely. I think most people wouldn't recognize any of the titles of the WT books; they print and print and print... but very few read them. Wonderful for the environment... bebu

haha is there a separate category for best-donated to book?
I'm suprised that "Fly Fishing" by J.R. Hartley didn't make the list.
That's a little joke that the older Brits might understand. Even so, I would bet that more people in Britain will know the fictional Mr. Hartley's fictional book than any of the of the WTS publications.
Of the 100 million "truth" books, my guess is 50 million languished in book bags, turned yellow and were dumped. 45 million were sold and promptly put in the garbage can.
