Interesting. Although this is probably one of the stupidest things I've heard in a while: "God created things to show that they were created, so that we would worship Him and not the creation."

"God created things to show that they were created, so that we would worship Him and not the creation."
If life and all that supports life is God’s way of showing we were created, then the question that begs to be answered is, “who created God?” Saying that God has always existed is changing the rule that led to the conclusion that “God created things to show that they were created . . . “
Creationist want it both ways, much like religionist point to their holy books as the actual word of God while condemning other religionist as infidels.

I don't believe in evolution but I wonder why God made everything to die and be sick along the way. This includes plants that get all kinds of parasites, bugs, etc. Does God like to see suffering and death, as everything living seems to eat something else, well almost, some animals eat vegetation but they are ate by other animals.

tells us that God’s invisible attributes are clearly evident in what He has made, so that no one has any excuse for claiming lack of knowledge.

So what are God's invisible attributes, it sure doesn't seem to be love. Maybe we are put here so when we get another life we will appreciate it more.

The big question for me is why all the bad stuff when God could change it in a minute if he is real?

The Bible teaches that these things were not a part of God's original creation, but instead occurred as a result of the judgement following mans sin. http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/death_suffering.asp
