I wasn't home, but when I returned this afternoon, there in my door was a tract "Would You Like to Know More About the Bible?" I haven't seen a Witness in ages. How I wish I had been home.
As to their little tract, I respond that I don't need their help in understanding the Bible. And countless others throughout the centuries read the Bible with no need of Jehovah's Witnesses or their literature to "explain" it. And they were not the worst for it. Why would God give mankind the Bible centuries ago and yet they would have to wait until the 1870s before they had someone to begin to help them understand it? Where and what was the Holy Spirit supposed to be doing during the interim?
