    a couple of things

you can't control your past, you can control your future. but should you try to control it or should you just for the most part let it happen, perhaps giving it a light touch of influence.

perhaps influence it with your values, your talents, your goals.

Joelbear, I let it flow, but I try to steer some too. If you know that you're heading for a big iceberg and that doing something else for awhile will steer you clear of it, its helpful to take up the oar for awhile! Sometimes though I find that I stress out entirely too much about things outside of my control, and thats when its helpful to reflect on what you just said!

Big old bear hug to you!!

It's been my understanding JB, that sometimes in life, you can't just let things happen, you gotta' make them happen. A delicate balance. Like driving a stick shift. 6 Speed Manual.

You've made a good point Joel.

I have found the best way to realy feel the warm flow of life is to spend more time being silently present with what the universe is expressing, and less time lost in my mind thinking about it.

Have you been reading Eckart Tolle again? We really do spend a lot of time trapped in our minds, don't we!

The flow of life is a beautiful thing. If we dedicate ourselves to a cause... a loving cause... then we often find it takes a flow all of it's own.

Go with the flow that you dedicate yourself to. Certainly once in a while give it a nudge in the right direction... but generally you can't go wrong. Learn to appreciate the moment for what it can offer, whether it be pleasure, or a painful lesson.

We learn to recognize milestones, moments that define our life-course at that time. You'll find them to be reassuring. When you recognize it, you'll realize that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

    Always in love.

    KJ
