On page 4 of the January 2006 Awake, as required by law in the US, it states:
Awake! (ISSN 0005-237X) is published monthly by Watchtower Bible and Tract Socitey of New York, Inc.; M.H. Larson, President; G.F. Simonis, Secretary-Treasurer; 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483.

"THEY"....are the corporate heads of the magazine. The WRITERS and re-searchers are not them.
If 20 workers build a house, it's the contractor who recieves the credit for the structure.
