What are some scriptures where the WTS puts itself in Jesus place

    Two important doctrine that the WTS replaces with Jesus with itself are;

Trying to indicate Peter said to Jesus "where would we go?" rather than "whom would we go to" as stated in the scripture.

w75 9/1 p. 531 “ Where could we turn if we would leave God’s organization today? There is nowhere else! (John 6:66-69)”

The second and even worse is that they say Jesus is not the mediator of any but the 144000, so everyone needs to be

Worldwide Security Under the "Prince of Peace" (1986) pp.10-11 ch.1

He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual .

    Watchtower 1979 November 15 p.24

To keep in relationship with “our Savior, God,” the “great crowd” needs to remain united with the remnant of spiritual Israelites.”

Any other examples that you can think of?

That is enough for me to realise the Jehovah's Witnesses are involved with a dangerous entity:

2 Thess 2:1-12 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: we ask you, brothers, not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For [that day] will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God. Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I told you about this? And you know what currently restrains [him] , so that he will be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and will bring him to nothing with the brightness of His coming. The coming [of the lawless one] is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders, and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. [They perish] because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

    Matt:24:45

"Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom the master appointed over all his belongings".

The Governing Body is appointed by christ himself to run his show.

    Good scripture Honesty

You had me a bit confused there Gumby. I thought you may have switched sides, but now I see what you are getting at. They misuse Mat 24 to imply it refers to them.

Yes, it is a good scripture. It also proves that WT dissenters are not apostates:

For [that day] will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God.

The only 'True Apostates' are the WTBT$ and its Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The average r&f JW is an apostate because, whether they admit it in their hearts to themselves or not they bow down to the Governing Body as their mediator instead of bowing down to Jesus as their rightful mediator.

If any of them think that Jesus is not going to hold them accountable if they remain JW's until they die then they don't really believe Him.

I wish i had noticed that before. I have had a huge disagreement with the person that dobbed me in over my site and then the elders at my judicial committee, saying how dare they call me an apostate as i am not the AntiChrist as referred to in 2 John. However to read that scripture would have been far more effective (even though it would make no difference to the closed mind of a JDub)

Hey there..I 'm thinking of the scripture....Jesus: I am the way and the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the father except thru me... ( the Wt adds and thru them..!! )

They also use the scripture in the Old T. .."10 men will hold on to the skirt of a Jew" to prove that they have to control every aspect of out LIFE. Uggh..

It dawned on me several years ago that the WTS puts itself in Jesus’ place. They also have substituted themselves quite successful for Jehovah to the point that many JWs react to WT instructions as if they were directly from God,
