What if a morally corrupt, patriarchal organization, founded and fostered by men who are nothing more than caricatures of all that is and was negative about 20th century white maleness, was brought to it's knees by a woman who turns out to be a vision of all that can be wonderful about 20th century woman?
And all this at the cusp of the 21st century.

When I was very young, and my mother was a fresh and eager Bible student of the Witness next door, I heard a story...no doubt one of those urban legends so rampant in the WT world:
A Witness was brought before a female judge for some sort of persecution issue (as I said, it's been many years and the details of the story are fuzzy in my memory). The judge was characterized as being harsh and unfair to the humble Witness. When she called upon the Witness to testify in his own behalf, he read from Michah a scripture about "....oh woman enemy of mine", at which point the evil woman judge dropped dead from a sudden heart attack. This story made quite an impression on the young Wasasister.
I wonder if anyone at the GB has looked that scripture up recently.
