I have noticed this site has some links I would not expect to see on a former Witness site. Everything from sites about gay marriage, to dating services and even from time to time I see links to sites that seem to be Mormon recruiting grounds. I do see from time to time, links to other former Witness websites that seem to then link to other sites and so on. Yet there is a lot of other sites too. Is this how the site is paid for? I know this is not the most interesting of subject, but new people have to wonder this ... I know I did.
This site advertises some odd things, or is it just my computer?

I think I am getting it, or maybe the admin is just messing with me. Does this site take key words from your post to decide what to advertise? The reason I ask, well on my post there is now a surrounding of ad's for Mormon stuff, dating sites and gay marriage links. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

The board has little to do with the ads that get posted. The ad server automatically chooses which ads to put up and that is mostly dictated by whatever topic is on the page at the time.

yes, just watch, I'll put in a topic lie, psychics and bingo, I bet in a few you will see ads reegarding that.

Now that I know it makes sense, but it is funny at times to see these links on a former Witness site.
