wow.
can you edit that and re-size it?
That is fookin hilarious.
Now you could substitute the internet for the wedge, dannyhazard for the hammer and the GB for the clergy
LOL
That reminds of the old corny saying, "don't point, because you have three fingers pointing back at you." Always hated that saying but it seems apt here.
Matthew 24: 21-22 - "...for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:"
Psalms 102:13-22 - "Thou wilt arise, and have mercy upon Zion; For it is time to have pity upon her, Yea, the set time is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust. So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, And all the kings of the earth thy glory. For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory. He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; From heaven did Jehovah behold the earth; To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death; That men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem; When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
That cartoon is from 1923. Millions now living. Even if they were speaking of 5 year olds...which we know they weren't...those 5 year olds would now be 88 years old. LOL....not many 88 year old Jehovah's Witness' are there? Much less millions of them.
Rutherford had obviously lied to the then dubs when promising them immortality, and he himself died of colon cancer. But was he projecting his own negative side on the clergy because he was just as guilty as them in loving luxuries, lusting for power, and producing false doctrine.
