What makes a hero a hero Star?
People who are willing to speak out on behalf of those who have no voice,
People who are willing to stand up for those who are too weak to stand,
So, You. I have my reasons. I know you. We talk and we have visited with one another. Various people here.
There are a lot of heros that we don't see in the news/media. Everyday heros who go through life without any media coverage. That doesn't make them less of a hero.
But, also, Bono, Neil Young. Two off the top of my head who are 'famous', but I think there are millions of heros out there.

- as an incest survivor -> Oprah
- as a cult survivor -> Jan G, Jan H, Simon, Maximus, Amazing (both versions) Steve Hassan, Randy, Farkel, AlanF, larc, . Anyone who has had the courage to take a step into the unknown regardless of the fear. Many of the old guard who studied so hard and sifted through so much WT lies and then made it available to all of us. What groundbreakers!!!

- as a friend -> Yvon, the one person who stood by me when I left the JWs. He never was a JW but he knew me and believed in me and helped me realize that life could be worth living. We have gone our separate ways but he will always be my personal hero
And this one may sound strange but ME. I am my own hero for struggling through so much and I am stronger than anyone (including myself) ever thought.
