666 question need help with.

I have found a couple of verses with 666 in them . 2 chronicals 9:13 and 1 Kings 10:14 . What does it mean? This is only other mention of 666 besides revelation I can find..
Any thoughts?

Except....666 was a clerical error. It should have read 616. Ooooops.

Well that info sounds like speculation to me. They said it was the anti- christs number? Who ever said that? How does any human know for sure that number is even really bad? Oh, I am sorry...I should be leaning on my own understanding like everyone else..so I don't appear like a little child...right?
