    4. Those used as writers (for the Watchtower and Awake!) must be dedicated, baptized brothers or sisters in good standing with their local congregations and who have writing ability. They should be exemplary, modest, not inclined to talk loosely to others about their writing activity. Sister may be found to be especially talented in writing articles of interest to women. However, they should not be used to prepare articles that are basically an exposition of Scripture. Whenever anyone is given an assignment to write an article for The Watchtower or Awake!, that person should be given a copy of the memorandum "Writing for Our Journals." It is not necessary that the person read the Standards Manual if that is available locally. However, the one in the branch responsible for sending in the article should be well acquainted with this publication and follow its rules when editing material submitted. This will do much to assure that articles will be usable for publication.

I guess the "Other sheep" are feeding themselves. I've come across a few Non-Annointed that have written articles for the mags. Makes one wonder.

    Elsewhere,

I am curious, are these documents re-typed, copying from the originals to electronic documents? I only ask because I've noticed several grammatical errors that I know the Society would not have published in any official document. I'm not saying these documents arn't legitimate, I'm just curious.

Well now. Doesn't that shoot down any JWs assertion that the WTS would never use a woman toi write articles for the publications.

There it is in black and white.

    I love it

This is an original document from within the Watchtower Society and the text has not been re-typed or altered in any manner. Any errors you find are original. The only change I made was to un-encrypt the file so that anyone could copy and paste from the document... originally it was electronically locked to prevent anyone from being able to do this.
I'm curious if you could list a few of the grammatical errors you are talking about. I'm not very good at catching such things.

As Ray Franz wrote most of the WTS writings come from the so called non annointed, one wondewrs what happened to the anoointed and why they get no inspiration to write anything. Or perhaps they do but the GB don't want it as they are not part of their trusted inner circle.

I suspect that most anointed people are either old and senile or they are generally viewed as "touched in the head".
