Today I attended a meeting targeted on how to handle the situation of children vs. lesbian/gay parents coming out. It was most enlightening. The most surprising though was that I met a lesbian DF sister from my neighbourhood "cong". We stared at one another for a few long seconds and then gave each other a loooong hug. She was not surprised to see me though, had understood for years. Quite a clairvoyant lady with a well-developed gaydar. I won’t give any more info on the open forum, but she has an amazing story.

So can she read the thoughts of homosexual ppl? Is this gaydar uncanny ability for real?

Well I suppose we should define gaydar, huh? Gaydar is the ability to tell whether someone else is gay. The term is used mostly by the gay community. So many people even now, have to be in the closet in so many areas of this country and the world, that gaydar comes in handy to tell if someone else is "family" too.

Yes, I am sure. Today, I even experienced once an amazing thing. I attended my first monthly social evening of members of the support organization I am taking part in. Four of them (out of 8 attending) know my favourite female colleague - the one I am planning to come out to on Monday. She has even attended parties with them... After all, there are 1 million people living in my region, so the odds to meet someone that close is not that big... She is a very nice, caring woman. Sure, a small world...
