if it can be proven that smoking tobacco was common or atleast available before all the explicit jesuit cleanliness laws were written by Moses
then God's silence on the matter would prove he doesnt care about that (to the weirdos who take issue with it anyway).

I don't think tobacco was known in the old world until the new world was discovered and it was brought over to Europe. It was native to the Americas.
