Hi Everyone
I was wondering what the watchtower thought about first aid courses as I've just completed a course run by St John's Ambulance and when I told my friend who is an active jw she didn't seem too impressed.

I can't see any reason why they should be against them since first aids have saved many lives and no doubt JWs are included among the saved, they may just negatively associate it with the possible use of blood transfusion that they so foolishly oppose.

They don't really frown upon such things, in fact they like that. Since they would be tempted to use you in the first aid department at conventions which was what I used to do long ago when I was deeply involved with them. You get to see so much stuff behind the scenes.
