Entered these images in a Photoshop contest....comments...used Flash5 and Photofiltre a freeware off the Internet. Would love to have Photoshop, can't afford it. It was suggested I try a freeware "The Gimp". Anyone familiar with it? Was told it was on a par with Photoshop...suggestions...

Those are great, Quentin! I've never used Gimp...can barely use the Photoshop6 that I have now. lol
I might have Photoshop7 in zip form on my home computer that I could email you. I'll check tonight.

Thanks L2...did the Red Sea crossing in Flash5...Golfers in the freebie Photofiltre...that's the problem, flopping back and forth between software...Photofiltre is a dandy freeware, but doesn't support layers...unless it's a simplistic edit I wind up jumping back and forth...can't tell you how many times I've had to start over...the old brain ent what she used to be...
