HAS ANYONE HAD THE PLEASURE OF DRINKING BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE?

Our son brought back some Blue Mountain coffee from his trip to Jamaica.

It is the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted!! We watched on the Travel Channel last night a documentary about Jamaica - its people, music, sites, geography, and world renown coffee. They also had Mavis Bank speaking about the pure coffee - you want your coffee to be backed by M.B.C.F. as there are mixes out there that are not as good and they try to pass them off as pure Blue Mt. coffee.

It is very expensive - $68 LB in Japan, but much less in USA. But still expensive.

Wife and I spent our 10th anniversary in Jamaica and even went horseback riding where they grow Blue Mountain Coffee and we agree, it is fantastic...I am a coffee junkee and I love it.

Wow! That'll give the pot growers a run for their money.

I have couple of Jamaican friends that bring me Blue Mountian beans roasted on an open fire in Jamaica... I only get it that way once a year...

    I refuse to pay $68.00 a lb.

we pay far less than $68 a pound here....it is still pricey though but we don't mind contributing to the Jamaican economy.

Here in the States it's expensive, but not that much. I e mailed Blue Mt. site to see if I can get it locally. Though if it's that expensive - I'll probably have to settle for the norm.

Would make a nice gift item. Also he got my husband who likes Captain Morgans, some Jamaican rum. Anyone have that??
