  On the front of the "When Someone You Love Dies" brochure, there is a picture of a young couple walking down the beach.

  Well, the new brochure is out, and the Watchtower has made a pretty good attempt at imitating the old picture, BUT it's definite that the young couple has been REPLACED.

  The picture is close, but the background is a different scene, close, but different.

  And the man and woman walking along are new!

  So... what happened Watchtower? Did these people quit the Watchtower, and you had to replace them? Can't go about placing literature with APOSTATES on the cover, ...eh?

  I am bringing this to the top of the board. I would like to find out who these people are. For them to have been used for the cover photograph of this brochure means that the had "many years of faithful service" to the BORG, most likely at a Branch office somewhere, if not NY itself, and hence could prove very useful!

  Start asking questions people!!!

  Not necessarily.

  The Society often uses stock photos from commercial photo libraries. Not all the pics they use are of JWs - they will be standard pics that any publishing house can buy and use.

  As for the "Loved One Dies" brochure - maybe they had used a stock photo, but decided to swap it for a JW couple???

  And even if the original pic was of a JW couple, and they removed the couple from the pic - so what??

  I don't really see what the big deal is over a simple photo!

  If they were a JW couple and turned "apostate" (as the General Bullshitters call them, then there is a couple of people out there, possible long time Bethelites, who have valuable info...

  Well, for one thing, all the meetings are over now in my country (it's Sunday night), and I haven't been to a meeting for over 2 years. Would look a bit weird if I turn up just to look at a brochure because of your speculations!
