what would prevent him from doing the same to an organization of imperfect men claiming to be God's earthly organization?

(Actually wouldn't it be a more effective way of misleading the masses?)

2. If the "faithful and discreet slave" is comprised of all the remaining annointed ones worldwide , why aren't they

consulted when decisions are made, new teachings are introduced and when new GB members are selected?

God's supposed earthly organisation is as corrupt as any other earthly one at least the leadership is, they only care about perpetuating their own authority and positions and have been systematically lying to and manipulating their R&F. That is why the small inner circle of rulers completely ignore the rest of the "anointed" because they are lusting for power and don't want to share it, in this organisation power had always been concentrared in the hands of very few: Russell-> Rutherford-> Franz & Knorr-> 10-20 GB members. There no doubt are many "anointed" that are more spiritual and capable than the GB but their services are undesirable if they try to claim some teaching authority they will most probably get thrown out. This is after all an entity that derives its authority from US corporate law. There are shareholders and a board of directors, it is not for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to go and meddle in the affairs of the multibillon dollar corporation.
