OK, this sounds like a joke, but I'm not making this up.
There is a new artist getting critical attention named Matisyahu
He is an ultra orthodox Hassidic Jew - who is singing Reggae, hip hop style. He can't stage dive into a crowd because that might
involve touching a woman ( I'm not kidding). Rolling Stone did a whole article on him. His current single is "King without a crown"
It's interesting stuff.

i've got 2 cd's of his. love his music, don't care what he sings about, it has a good vibe, will see him at bonnaroo 2006
His shows get hype! Not my cup of tea but some cats really feel this dude.
