I'm looking for something to be a part of. List religions with their main focuses, and the sucky part of them.
For example,
Jehovah Witness's: Lots of studying; mandatory field service
Can you give me a list of religions/beliefs w/ main pros and cons?

That would be kinda hard to do since pros and cons are different for everyone.
If you ask me, religion is all a big con anyway!

Certainly, I am an atheist who has recently joined the "Church of Spongebob".......Sorry, I can only think of the pros !
Fans set up church of SpongeBob
US fans of the flamboyant cartoon character SpongeBob Squarepants have set up a church in his name.SpongeBob Squarepants has become a hit around the world More than 700 members of the Church of SpongeBob meet for services in New York, Texas and California.
The church's manifesto says it wants to push "simple things like having fun and using your imagination", and offers study courses on the cartoon.
A spokesman for Nickelodeon, which makes the cartoon, said: "SpongeBob's appeal is extraordinary."
Celebrity fans
The cartoon has become one of the most popular children's shows in the US, and has been sold around the world.
It features the enthusiastic but accident-prone sponge, permanently dressed in a boy scout's uniform, and his adventures in Bikini Bottom in the Pacific Ocean.
Its celebrity fans include Austin Powers actor Mike Myers, Oasis' Noel Gallagher and pop stars Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Kelly Osbourne.
Recently it was announced that Lost in Translation star Scarlett Johansson would be voicing a character in the forthcoming animated adventure The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
In the film, she will play a character named Mindy, daughter of King Neptune.

Every religion is mans concept of a god who has never been heard nor shown his face.

Bible-believing, Non-denominational, Born-again, Follower-of Christ.
Benefits: No requirement to follow any "religion" or any "rituals" that men would impose upon you.
Peace and Joy, due to the fact that your Salvation is secure. It does not hinge on what you"do" or "don't do".
A personal relationship to the one and only TRUE God!
A desire to use your own personal, special gifts, in order to show the love of Christ to others.
No need to join a "club". You can worship anywhere at anytime.
Only one "book" required: The Holy Bible
Downside: If you love being selfish, if you want to be bogged down by rituals and studies, if you desire man-made rules, if you like to be spiteful and hateful, if you want to keep track of everyone else's sins, if you want everything to make absolute sense from a human stand point, if you need opinions from every Tom-Dick-&-Harry about what is right or wrong, etc......THEN this may not be for you.
