I just found a place called beliefnet.com, and they have all religious info and message boards, and I posted my doubts on their forum, here is a link. I hope it's ok to post this on this forum!

If the mood ever hits you.....hop on over to the JW Debate board at B-net...I'm a regular poster there. I just sepnt the entire last two days GOOGLING and gathering tons of info on the WTS $$$$ and how they amass it.
Lady Lee's "Best Of" series was a tremendous help to me too. I've been mostly busy on the thread "All That Money" started by "whysthat".
I go by "Mature Thinker" over there....so come by and put in a post or two.....

I forgot to mention that I can't (not allowed) to post on anything other than the JW Debate board because I am an "opposer" and the mods all know that...so even when I reply to a straight question strictly copying and posting from a WT article...my posts are deleted. They only want pure JWs to answer. Go figure.
So.....I can't go and reply to your post if it isn't on the Debate board.

btw, my JW friend uses the same excuse for "no birthdays"... Jesus didn't mention it... SAY WHAT? I pointed out the last verse in the Book of John:

My friend's only come back was.... "well, we just don't, it's not scriptual".... scheesch

your post was great, very amusing. I have been trying to join, but somehow never get a password emailed to me.
There is a site called Fundies Say the Darndest Things. Each month, they list the wackiest things fundies say on internet forums, post the quotes and links. It is a fairly popular site afaik. I have been trying to get some JW quotes on there for a few months to no avail, because the quotes I submitted haven't been wacky enough. (The one I submitted last wk was pretty "out there", so I'm hoping to see it in the April edition.)
Anyway, IMO this is a good way to potentially spread the word about the wackiness of the jw cult. If any of you come across crazy quotes from jws that you'd like to submit, click the link above. Thanks.

This guy tries to be funny and imply that WC is a bit slow but he can't spell 'here' correctly.
And how is it that a JW(I'm guessing he is one) could know what JWD is and that WC is a poster here?
I've been on that site a few times. I believe there have been a number of 'spirited' conversations between jw's and non jw's. I don't see why they would remove anything unless bad language is used. Just like any board you have to get to know the characters and where people are coming from. Basically it is not a pro jw site from what I have seen in the past. I don't visit there often though and probably look more for those that can argue against jw's.
