I read something hilarious a few years ago at one of these forums. Go to an assembly...stand up and horse around during the session until the ushers take notice. When they hold up those little signs they have saying something like "PLEASE TAKE YOUR SEAT" hold up your own sign that says, "PLEASE KISS MY ASS". hahahahahahah

LMAO, yeah well that should pretty much do it.

Reminds me of an assembly I attended years ago. A couple of brothers (fleshly) got into a tiff with one another during the lunch break which the Ushers broke up. Time for the start of the next session and they were still fighting with each other and push came to shove and again the Ushers came and this time escorted them and their parents out of the building.

They happened to be in my local congergation and you guess it a week or so later one of them was publicly reproved and the other DF'ed.

So yeah it happens and it works!

"fleshly" just means blood brothers, as in REAL same mom and/or same dad brothers. As opposed to "spiritual" brothers, which is what is assumed is meant when talking about 'brothers' and 'sisters' in the JW context...

i confronted my then ministerial servant brother in law at an assembly in the corridor.....

2 attendants came over to " see if we needed assistance"

told them if they knew what was good for them they'd back off... .

shocked myself for a second for having a backbone.........kept tearing into broinlaw..(who had swore up and down he wasnt cheating on my sister but we found out because of an undeleted text message from his mistress, he'd been cheating for over 3 yrs)

anyway.. i got my rant out, walked off.. found out later the 2 chicken attendants came back with 4 other brothers and had to help bro in law to first aid cuz he was bawling and having a screaming fit about evil women lol

i didnt get df'd though.......he did. cuz in his mad fit he admitted everything publicly.. the stupid dick.

ahhhhhh i'd forgotten about that... does me good to remember when i wasnt a weak minded whimpy bird.

(that was 10 yrs ago, he was df/d long enough to finalize divorce and get married to the mistress now he's again a ministerial servant working towards being an elder , with new lil wifey at his side and my sis struggling to finish raising their youngest child in another state.. gods holy spirit surely blesses the wtbs )

stilla, as to the signs, they don't use them in this area, but not all conventions are "equal." Some convention brothers still have those signs. Probably the more anal ones.

i agree candid, the holy spirit sure does allow the right people to be servants and elders in the cong. like me, i was a ministerial servent and the whole time i never beleived in god and spent hours on the internet viewing porn and watching rated R movies in private. the elders realy did see what was in my heart and put me in the right place, on the stage giving a talk on masterbation. later on that night i masterbated...
