I'm reposting this as I didn't get a response, jw or jw explanator

How do jws reconcile "it's not what goes in that defiles but what comes out" with their blood policy that plainly emphasises "it's not what comes out, but what goes in" ?

A friend recently asked a hospital blood facts appointed elder about whether or not autologous blood was acceptable, and the answer given was actually these words "No, it can't go in after leaving the body; it's what goes in that matters, not what comes out".

She said that she found the saying disturbing.

Only thinking persons find it necessary to reconcile contradictions. JW's simply swallow and follow. Thinking leads to research, which leads to contradictions, which neccesitates reconciliation. Countless experiences have proven reconciliation will bring a thinking person to a juncture where the concrete evidence of truth cannot be bridged to the JW version of truth.

Again numerous judicial committe experiences have shown that at this point truth becomes a non-issue. Loyalty to the organization will become the focal point. Either one swallows and follows the organization or one follows their conscience.

Swallowers and followers see no need to reconcile. Whatever contradictions the GB may feed them is eagerly swallowed and followed. And if it changes tommorrow, JW's will not see the need to reconcile anything. They simply reguritate, swallow and follow.
