I would venture to guess it has something to do with the fact that the memorial is today.

I don't remember sadly. I am not a jw or ex jw. I am married to one. So actually I see the increase in rank as a mark of sadness rather than healing like most. It means my wife is still in the org -

Welcome Chok! I didn't see you come in. You are a Newbie until 100 posts, then I think it is "Junior Member" then "Master Member" "Senior Member" Then "Jedi"...or something like that...has to do with the number of posts, though. We have a few Junior Members who have been on since 2001.

And at 500 you become a master, at 1000 a jedi master, at 2000 an emperor, and at 5000 you become supreme.
