Recently I posted a subject about being pressured by family into going to the memorial, well, I stood my ground and for the first time in my life that I can remember I did not go! Today I feel like a new man, I feel liberated!....if now I could get them off my back for all the other JW events, just got a call from my sister asking me, "since you didnt go to the memorial, are you going to the "special" assembly?" I felt like telling her flat out "NO! dont you get the f#$k@$g! message?", but I don't have the nerve.
I did not go!
