Nice change; will take some getting used to though.
My only complaint though is that I was typing a very long letter to a fellow poster and when the change was made on the site, I lost my letter. It's out in cyberspace somewhere floating amidst the asteroids.
Any suggestions for retrieving it? I've tried what I know.

I'm not crazy. It is new. And when it changed over, I lost my entire letter I was typing to a friend in Oz.

Its exactly the same as when I first logged on over a year ago.....unless your computer formats the page differently or something.
Hmmm, I wonder if it was the same one that popped up briefly last weekend while the site was down for many hours. It looked so different I wondered if the site had been hacked...
I know Simon has been busy working on retooling this site...big new things are supposed to happen in 2006 here...
Near the lower left of the page there are 3 links next to the word "style", basic, XP, and compact. Clicking on them will give the site a different appearance. Could you have accidentally clicked one of these?
I don't have any suggestion for retrieving your lost letter. I've lost a few in my time, and now I create them in notepad first, and save them, and paste them into the text window when I'm ready to send them.

I must've hit the XP somehow. I'll have to watch my "trigger" finger. hee hee Also for your advice in writing letters so you don't lose them.
