In his last book, Penton said That the psychologist Bettelheim has witnessed the JW's antisemitism in the concentration camp. Unfortunally, he didn't provide the reference of his affirmation.

I have perhaps a old e-mail of Penton and he has never answered my mail concerning this subject.

Is someone has some more information about Bettelheim or can contact Penton or give me his e-mail ?

    Thanks in advance

    I found this

In 1943 Bettelheim published "Individual and Mass Behavior in Extreme Situations," a psychological study of concentration camp inmate behavior and attitudes that shocked a world that knew little about the camps and was not likely to question Bettelheim’s methods, theories, or conclusions. http://www.firstthings.com/ftissues/ft9706/articles/finn.html

If you find the book it might help you. The post above is taken from a discussion that is pretty critical of Bettelheim.

TheDeclaration of Facts that the WTS drafted and sent to Hitler and distributed in the country was well known for its anti-semetic comments. it is very possible that most Jews and others would have known about this document and perhaps that is what Bruno Bettelheim was referring to. See:

Was Rutherford's antisemitism real or just meant to appease Hitler and save the day for the JWs?
