Do you know of any JW's elders charged with "sexual harrassment"

I have mentioned it before that I was extremely naive when I was a devout JW's. I thought the elders walked on water. Now that I am out It just amazes me how naive I was. The elders could have told me that the sky was made out of newspaper and I would have believed it. I now see things so clearly. I remember that a big scandal happened in my KH with one of the elders. Brother elder was accused of constantly flirting with one of the pioneers daughter that was about 18 years old. This elder was removed from being an elder and it took him years to get his eldership back. But I am wondering how many elders sexually harrass JW sisters. This elder was married with kids so I know his wife felt alot of shame. If ex-jws elders or current jw's elders out there can help with this question since you would be the expert on it.

i know of an appointed man a few years back who was removed because of sexually harassing a female member of the congregation - he was/is married. Many, many years later he was re-appointed

Not so much sexual, but I know of one whe "kidnapped" his kid. he was arrested in canada and the kids were returned to their dissfellowshipped mother (in Atlanta.) No action (to my knowledge) taken against him.

I have a friend whose sister and brother-in-law served at Bethel. The brother in position of oversight in the Bethel department in which she worked had the "habit" of resting his arms on sisters' shoulders and then "accidentally" letting them slip father down onto their buttocks. This sisters and her husband reported him for sexual harrassment to the "powers that be" after several instances of this happening to her.

Long story short, they dismissed her from her position, and moved her into a much harder work position...and spread rumours. Later, they discovered that she was hardly the first sister to compain of his behavior, yet nothing happened to him. (Of course) Eventually, they left Bethel...and the organization.

It was especially difficult for her because her father sexually molested all the girls in their family...and no one believed them. This really triggered those feelings again.

We had a brother like that; 2 sisters complained to me and that the elders would not believe them. When he touched me, I bent his finger back to meet the back of his hand.........that ended it....actually I was surprised I was that strong.

Aaahhh. A kindred spirit. If my "brothers" will not defend me, I will defend myself!

    1) a friend's father a JW in good standing who sexually abused me as a young teen.

    2) an elder who sexually abused me as a young teen.

    3) my ex-father-in-law who had a baby with my ex-sister-in-law all while a jw...and still became an elder again!!!!

    4) my brother-in-law/nephew-in-law (person married to the product of the incest) who raped someone and got away with it.
