  Some points to consider

  1. Not allowed to look at sites that disagree with the Society (you can label this with the word apostate, which scares you away from it)
  2. Not to read books that disagree with the Society (you can label this with the word apostate, which scares you away from it)
  3. Not meant to watch Video's or films that disagree with the society (you can label this with the word apostate, which scares you away from it)
  4. Not allowed to associate with folks who are 'bad association' incase they spoil your useful habits. Thing is, it takes that scripture way too far and affects a lot of relationships with family/friends...could this be incase they raise a good point that makes you doubt the Society??
  5. Christmas/Birthdays, i know there are 'other' reasons not to do these but could you listen to someone who might make you doubt the society?
  6. Disfellowshipping Apostates...MAYBE just maybe this means ones who are kicked out can't help anyone and show them the truth.

  If the Society is so strong why this crazy control? Think about it.

  All good points babe! Searching for the truth, yet not being allowed to search? Odd huh?

  However, my answer to your question is because "I said so"!

  Obviously they condemn any difference of opinion on any thing . It's all part of the control . They even had conventions on the "voice of strangers" as if everybody outside the org. is just plain evil and wanting to sway them from serving "jehovah" (publishing corporation).

  That is the question if they have the far stronger position as they claim then why do they have to hide rather than face the debate? The answer is that they are afraid to confront their opponents because they are weak and flawed in their doctrines and ideology.

  The WATCHTOWER BIBLE and TRACT SOCIETY cannot stand up to any investigation. A superficial examination proves their deception and manipulative doctrines are totally devoid of scriptural, moral and ethical basis.

  Yah that's true honesty . Alot of it is dogma and is to be believed simply because the "FDS" says it's true . In essence the strawman argument that usually leaves the crows nesting in it's brow . HE HE .

  Then add the lack of christian qualities and how they do things that aren't in the bible, they can say they make educated guesses but none of its anywhere in the bible. including not taking bread and wine unless your annointed.

  The central CORE doctrine of the Watchtower,yes the reason the Watchtower came into existence was to declare Jesus second coming in 1914.When the prophecy (derived from William Miller of 1842) failed they said that he came "invisibly".
  Ergo,no 1914 then there can be no 1918 inspection and sealing of the 'annointed' so the entire wts doctrinal superstructure comes crashing down like a house of cards.
