Oh boy... they just stopped at my door

I was eating a relatively peaceful breakfast, reading my Business Week magazine, and there was a gentle knock on my door.

    It was them.

(Two older gentlemen) "We were just discussing what plan god has for the earth and we were wondering if you think the way things are in the world are what god planned for us."

Me: "I appreciate your time, but I am an atheist and I'm not interested"

Guy: "Were you always an antheist or did you once believe in god?"

Me: "No, I used to belive in god, but I thought about it and changed my mind."

Guy: "No facts or evidence could change your mind?"

Me: "No, thanks" (thinking, what fact or evidence could you possibly give me?)

It was a quick interaction. But, I just wanted to get back to my spaghetti-o's and magazine.

spaghetti-o's for breakfast?! eeeww! Made worse by the knock on your door! You show considerable self control in not asking them how they of all people would know God's plan for anything!

Doing the door to door must be a frustrating job.

I suppose that if it was a good looking younger guy, I might have invited him in

Got rid of them quick...sounds good to me. Of course, the people around here know I was a witness, so it's like I have to explain stuff to them before they will be on their way.

Was it the spaghetti o's with meatballs? For some unknown reason, I like those things.

Well then next time hope for the Mormon's. The ones around here are extremely polite, nice and cute. Though they must not be able to read very well, they ignored my sign by my door.

Nope, the classic spaghetti-o's. Perfect hangover breakfast.

Not sure if I should judge more your choice of breakfast or them interrupting it lol

Those two guys look happy and young. The two at my door were clearly not happy and old(er). They were both in the 60's, I would guess.

They wouldn't be happy since they are old and their hopes for a paradise with immortality, health, and youth were dashed in 1995 with the change in the generation concept.

In addition they bring the devil and a lot of darkness in people's houses and not the gospel as they claim.
