so, because some photos of UFO's are probably not aliens from another planet means there IS NO INTELLIGENT LIFE outside of earth? what an ignorant and narcissistic conclusion... just because they might not be as civilized as to make a flying object that can travel outside their own galaxy doesn't mean they're not there. we can't get send populated ships to any planets WITHIN our own solar system... that doesn't mean we're not intelligent or that we do not exist...
we will never reach the ends of the universe. we will never come close. to think that because we can't see it or reach it, means there is nothing there is very naive and self-absorbed

Now I am really trying to figure out how I got here.
I do not think it matters if they (ufos) are real or not.I am sure lifes out there.I would be more concerned about what they eat not what they fly.

where it was written about life on other planets (one of the 70's books or possibly an article), that Mars or Venus at the present time was not in such a state that it was favourable to life, but thatit was possible it could evolve to such a state? I remeber I read it and thought "wow!" at the time - but the years have buried the article ...............

I am a member of the "SOBEPS" (Belgian Society for Space Phenomenon Study") - Among SOBEPS collaborators, they have very well known scientists, professors of Universities (like UCL / Louvain) and high grade officers of Belgian army.
Believe me or not, I was already member of this Society when I was Jehovah's Witness (and an elder)
To be convinced that UFO's are real and not issued of human technology, one should read the two SOBEPS books (total 1000 pages) describing the big waves of UFO's here in Belgium in 1989-1990 (Original In French, translated in German).

At least one of you appears to have gotten the idea that by posting this link I'm somehow claiming that there is no alien life on other planets.
I am not claiming that, in fact my personal opinion on the matter is that with all the vastness of the universe, there almost HAS to be alien life somewhere.
But the chances of us ever encountering them in person are extremely slim.

You will never see a report from a government organization backing the belief in UFO. Why is that? When often the evidence they investigate is not the cases people consider creditable.

I'm with you on that. Almost surely out there, almost surely never gonna find 'em. Or them, us. Even if they managed to overcome the light-speed barrier, how would they know to come here? And nothing we've sent out (radio waves and all that) could be detected outside of the 100-light-year or so bubble around earth where they currently reside.
It's possible, but the odds don't favor it.
