I wonder if jdubz in poorer countries can pay less for the rags they have to distribute.
Door to door ? People may not even have a door or food or clothes.
Who would spend a days pay or even a weeks pay for a mag that tells them how bad things are ? Hey no s--- sherlock..........
Could be. I seem to recall stories of missionary types getting paid with produce or a chicken.
I would have made a crappy missionary. I wouldn't know what the heck to even do with a chicken. I wouldn't be able to kill it myself, that's for sure.
Actually the publications are not offered for a price in any country, same drivel as in the US, suggest they donate to the "worldwide work." So actually, they don't have to give anything more than they do in the US or UK or Germany. Actually, it was boon to the poorer JWs not to have to pay the US prices based on US incomes.
