from the same KH, decided to plan a Sunday "date" and go to the meeting. I was thinking about how many I know just from my small town here. And there are alot. Can you imaging about 20 ex jws walking in early, taking up the front two rows, and just sit quietly through the meeting and leave?

Would they make it that far? Or would the elders think something fishy may happen and ask them to leave. If they didnt leave would they call the cops? (even though they werent doing anthing wrong)

Say just in the past 5 years, how many in your congregation are out now? (if you know)

I have the Congregation telephone list from 12 years ago. When I look at it, more than half don't go anymore.

Get all these people to come back for a Sunday meeting and all sit in the front rows, and that would be funny, especially seeing all these disfellowshipped ones talking to one another.....

The hardest part would be getting them all to show up. I know you couldn't get me back in a KH for anything, ever.

How about going to meetings regularly dressed in jeans and tshirt, just to see how long

    they would let you.

Actually that is a good example of passive resistence, if they sit quietly, there is nothing the elders can do to make them leave though they may get suspicious about their presence in the jw kh.

Same here. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot share in the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 1 Cor 10:21

If anything, the Witnesses would probably imagine that they had all realized en masse that they need to return to True Worship(tm).

I think it might be effective if 20 people (former Witnesses or otherwise) showed up in jeans and t-shirts with duct tape over their mouths to protest disfellowshipping. That might make a fairly powerful image. It would be the most effective played out in media coverage, like at a convention.

Then again, any form of resistence invariably causes Witnesses to think they are being persecuted, and therefore that they are truly God's Chosen People(tm).

If I was loaded, I'd contract a few busloads of models to protest outside every convention site in the country. I think I'd have them in suits and dresses so that they looked like respectable JWs, or t-shirts that said something like 'Protect your children - my molester is still an elder and he's here'. Some could have blindfolds, some could have tape over their mouths, some could hold up banners for silentlambs or freeminds or here.

But they'd all have to be smiley and drop-dead hot, so it would make good tv. Any of us regular earthlings who wanted to get involved could help by showing up in convention attire and mingling among them to make it permissible for somebody else to take a second look.

Maybe I'll save up for it and have it organised for the next big international DC.
