Sometimes I do not get any new updates of letters under friends catagory for 3 or 4 days and then I will go on and those three or 4 days will suddenly show up all at once. I am going through that right now... is anyone else??

It is not your computer. This forum is all screwed up and needs some serious maintenance. The only reliable source of new threads is the "Active Topics" link.

I have wondered if the lead topics under the specific categories were updated manually. There only seems to be a new just once or twice a day at best. Yet several new threads are created under various categories every hour.
I learned early on to go straight to 'Active Topics' first. Then to specific catetories.
