"In their greed they will exploit you with fabrications, but from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their DESTRUCTION does not sleep." ( 2 Peter 2:3 )

"The present heavens and earth have been reserved by the same word for fire, kept for the day of judgment and of DESTRUCTION of the GODLESS." ( 2 Peter 3:7 )

"I wish to remind you, although you know all things, that the Lord who once saved a people from the land of Egypt later DESTROYED those who DID NOT BELIEVE." ( Jude 5 )

    Macabre.

Do you know what is really 'macabre'? Someone who uses a Watchtower trained, single scripture exegesis to demonstrate how little he actually understands and has no clue to what he is doing!

Rex, your too much. Ok just what does 'destruction of godless' and 'destroy the unbelievers' mean to an expert like yourself. To my unskilled, sin ridden mind that means the authors of those passages anticipated the destruction of godless unbelievers. What does it really mean? Please share.

    **snaps back to present**

Geez, I just felt like I was back in my JC where destruction of the bad was the theme for me ("Rachel, if you were in Israel times, you would be dead")... nice.

Funny, now I see how it was the pot calling the kettle black.

Their destruction doesn't sleep - it goes on

    - the wicked will not dwell in the land

    - he will exalt you to possess the land; you will look on the destruction of the wicked

    - the loss of soul is obvious

If you had not been to the land, it would seem unusual to you - macabre then
