I've been thinking about the absurdities regarding the borgs blood policy. I would like to be able to pull out a sheet documenting the current do's and don'ts a witness must adhere to. And I would like the wording to be stark so witneses can see the absurdity and danger in this man made policy. Something like this:
PRODUCT:....................................... GOD'S VIEW:
1) HEMOGLOBIN ------------------ GOD LIKES. PERSONEL DESCISION
2) ALBUMIN ------------------ GOD LIKES. PERSONEL DESCISION
3) CLOTTING FACTOR ------------------ GOD HATES! DON'T TAKE!
4) PROTEINS ------------------ GOD HATES! DON'T TAKE!
...and so on.
Mabey the view part could be dated showing when god "hated" the blood product and when he "changed" his mind, further showing that this policy is and has always been "man made".
I suppose I could take the time to make a list myself but I KNOW there are those here in the DB community with more accurate info on the borgs blood (death) policy. Plus, there is a good deal of creativity here. If I don't get any responses then I will try to remember to do it myself. Thanks guys. (and gals).
