I was invited to mu 6 yr old JW niece's (Kinder) Graduation party this Sunday. As you ex-jw know, they dont celebrate birthdays, so i wanted to get her something special, for i dont get to do this very often.

What do you get a 6yr old Girl? (Dolls, books..I dont know)

    thx

Forget dolls! This is the 21st century! Get her an Xbox 360!

There are some really neat picture books for kids her age called "I SPY" by Jean Marzollo. They're kind of like Where's Waldo, but with small children's toys and neat cluttered up pictures.

My kids loved those books. They'll keep a kid happy for hours trying to find the things in the riddles below the photographs.

Oh, this one is new... an I SPY computer game:

Check out the things it helps kids to do: Brain Building. Problem Solving. Thinking Skills. I'd say this might be a good thing for a JW kid to have.

My little sister got a silver necklace with a heart charm for her grad from preschool and loved it. Does she like that sort of thing?
Kids Can Press (I think that's the name) has awesome kids books/activity kits. You can find them in any bookstore. Beading. knitting, friendship braclets, crafty stuff like that. My sister loved those too at that age,
