I thought Vedantas was Hindu, not Buddhist. Right?

(My dad and mom were in that group when I was born...and my dad remained Hindu after my mom joined the JWs...)

In one of the works of sir arthur c clarke, (i think it is in fountains of paradise) he discribes (shorty) the end of religion.
The predict the sun to explode in 400 years or so.

The JW's are one of the view religions not falling apart (they just change and adapt doctrine a bit, so they can say: We told youi that)

p.s. I read that when still a full witness. Got a bit of a double feeling about it

They neglected to list the (minor) JW character in Kurt Vonnegut's "Sirens of Titan".

Hmm, it would be interesting to have a JW companion for the Doctor --- Not!

Ok, how about regular fiction, such as "The Grapes of Wrath", which descirbes in the first chapter a Jehovahs Witness couple who have sex every night in their upstairs room?

In the first animated version of Heavy Metal you see the words "Kingdom Hall" on the front of a building behind one of the main characters. Only there for a second or two. Had to slow it down to see it clearly. Laughed pretty hard.

It's because JW's never interact with the general population, that's why you hardly see them in Sci Fi.

There are no JWs in science-fiction because it's set in the future.
