Yes, I have. Too many times to tell, but I guess the worse would be when my husband was diagnosed with a malignant sarcoma. He ended up having to have an amputation at the pelvis. (ugh!)
Since he was in the military at the time, I had military resources to help. It was a tough time for a young woman. This happened in 1984. We are still together, but it hasn't been easy.

I've been a civilian all my life, so it would help me to be able to tell veterans how to get help. You'd be surprised how many don't know. My friend's boyfriend didn't know until last year that the VA would pay for him to go to trade school.

It has a wealth of information for veterans and military folks.
